Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one victories have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback the Russian player secured his initial title for over two years with success over opponent Moutet in the competition title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- top-ranked player, has endured a difficult season, managing just a single victory at the big events and undergoing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
The player's unpredictability on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his service game in especial - led to him falling of the top ten and ultimately separating with long-term mentor Cervara.
Currently working with his coach and his other coach, he has consistently improved in the last few weeks - culminating in a tightly fought competitive victory over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's maiden championship following the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard surface since March of the previous year.
The win also indicates he has secured twenty-one championships at twenty-one various events.
"It's the first time I am participating in a event with my both daughters at once, so to secure a title is really nice," stated world number 14 Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter her name, because the maiden victory I got when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six title deciders, including in Halle previously this season.
The player's retrieving strategy and recurring reactions on the playing surface had prompted observers to question if his ability to perform at the highest level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has made changes in recent weeks, striving to approach the net and compete aggressively, supported by an enhanced serving game.
He fought back from a break down in the initial set against the difficult Moutet, taking four of the concluding five points to take the lead.
The competitors traded breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, attempting for his first ATP Tour title, gained dominance to push for a third set.
The opponent saved 4 early opportunities in a competitive third set before the Russian secured a break to 15 to serve for the match.
Appropriately, the winner clinched the title with a point at the net area, with Moutet incapable to control a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
